You shouldn't be packing a dGPU into a slim profile anyways. Spend an extra $250 on an gpu enclosure and then you can dive into any graphics card you want without having to worry about throttling, heat, or increased laptop fan noise. Having an actual GPU also ensures resale value and the ability to sell and upgrade instead of having its value slowly die in a laptop that's obsolete as soon as it comes out.

Also for anyone. Brightness = 400 nits, 350 average (center is brighter)

I love it.

I read the complaints by the other poster and they are probably fair, but non-issues for me. The screen is plenty bright. Speakers, while not amazing, are fine. Agree with the other poster: go check it out in store. I can live with the tradeoffs for a beautiful, ultralight, huge screen laptop. At this price point, the thing is a steal.

Ram: no. SSD: I believe there is an open m.2 slot.

32gb/1tb is on sale also, but not quite as good of a deal.

I plan on picking one up today.

Just go to a physical store and look at it by yourself and you will have a better idea.
I bought this one for my college kids, because it is very light in weight.

I got excited for a second until I realized it doesn't have dedicated graphics. Looks like a good deal, though, for those who don't need that!

Bought this laptop on July 5th at 999 but ineligible for price adjustment due to it being over 30 days. Still no regrets. It's incredibly light and the display is bright. The palm rest area below the keyboard is very large and takes some getting used to. Touchpad itself is obnoxiously large.

Just bought this in-store at Costco. Looked like a good deal and the laptop is great. Favorite parts are the screen and weight, The keyboard is solid, but lacking in feel. Don't worry about internet reviews like on LTT that trash the build quality, because the gram appears to have been improved since many of those videos. This laptop has fingerprint scanner in the power button which people say has been taken out in previous years. I've never seen, let alone owned, a 17" laptop but it has been love at first sight.
