Do NOT buy from this company. I believe this guitar is on deep discount because they have a few defective units they are trying to unload. Mine has a clear and significant grounding issue. Then suddenly they don't have any more in stock to exchange it but they can swap it out for an open box for $300 more??!! Then they transferred me back and forth to a bunch of different customer service agents. The last one immediately put me on hold and never came back to the line. Will be filing with the BBB IMMEDIATELY.

The guitar just came in today. Out of the box definitely a little more attention to Detail. No fret sprouts at all. The streamliners definitely needed Some fret sprout work right away. The guitar neck was pretty straight though I could adjust it. Just a tad more to lower the action. The guitar nut action is just a little higher than you want it to be. Going to bust out the files and work on that next. But that should be it. I played it as is and it played pretty. Darn good. Pickups are really really good. Definitely a step or two above the streamliners. I've been playing the guitar for the last hour and it's a really good guitar. Not just good for the money but just a really solid good guitar. You could definitely gig with this thing with minor work to it.

After "dealing" with them further via the BBB, to cut an unnecessarily long story short, I will once again emphatically state: do NOT do business with Adorama. You will thank me later. Trust me.

While that is an unfortunate experience, I don't think it is the normal experience for most customers. I don't believe they are trying to deceive anyone with what they have to offer. My assumption of their business model is that they buy out stock from other suppliers and distributors that are trying to move out older products, so they might not have a guaranteed in flow of new stock available for exchanges. They might get more in, but no guarantees...

I recently purchased a Streamliner G2622T from them and have no complaints at all. I've purchased from them in the past as well, also with nothing but a positive experience. Fast shipping, and received an unopened factory packaged guitar as expected.

Again, sorry that you had an unfortunate experience dealing with Adorama, but I don't think it's the norm when working with them.

Defects in merchandise occur, often not the fault of the vendor but rather due to poor and careless delivery service. That's not the issue. Adorama's attitude and response to this problem is the issue (as well as numerous others if you care to peruse the BBB website). You sure as hell will never encounter anything close to what I did dealing with Sweetwater or even Guitar Center. Period. Never again.

Poor customer service is a bummer- sorry you had to deal with that. I read through other BBB reviews and it seems like they could use some work in that area.

That being said though, assuming you get the right item in proper condition (which has always been my case), there is no reason to pass up on the deals offered on their site. To each their own though.

I'm trying to understand that myself. This deal is still active (although "backordered") and wondering what the odds are of actually restocking/shipping.

Also wondering if they'll restock only after a next batch is produced in China instead of S Korea
