Meh. Point remains, the burners on this grill are not going to last very long unless you remove them and clean them regularly. Do not recommend Kenmore

Sorry I couldn't read your thoughts.
Thanks for sharing your experience with this product. Yeah, nothing beats whoever, I mean Weber.
Have a good day.

In a realistic scenario:
$300 for 4 years is $75/year
Weber would be $1000 for let's say 20 years is $50/year. However, do you want to keep a grill that long? After 10 years, that grill is going to have plenty of ugly, permanent stains and there may be new feature that you prefer. Also, you will be replacing burners over that 20 year period. So, $1000 for 10 years ($100/year seems more accurate to me)
Is there any reason to prefer the Weber option?

You will not be replacing burners over that 20-year period. The burners are warrantied for 10 years, but even after that they aren't going to rust. The Weber is very good at directing grease away from them. Other reasons to buy one or they are known to be more evenly heating than other grills, minimizing hot and cold spots over the grill. So while at this price point you might get a smaller Weber, you will have more useful grilling space.
Weber isn't the only good gas grill. I would just avoid Kenmore specifically. There are other good brands. Broil King and Napoleon being good examples. If you don't like premium brands, fine. Char-Broil I think is a much more quality brand at a mid-range price point.

A smaller Weber Spirit would never cut it for me. I can make use of all the grilling space on a Kenmore grill by rotating the food, so it is all "useful grilling space" to me.
I didn't realize the Weber's burner longevity. Thanks for that info.

Regardless of your thoughts on how long this will last, it is a very solid deal. As outlined above the identical grill but with less features sells regularly on Amazon for over $400. Getting this for $297 is good to me.
It says next day delivery so it must be at a nearby store but it won't let me check nearby stores like it normally does for stuff
Does it need to be plugged to a port outlet or are the sensors battery operated?
