He explains that these "flushable" wipes are made from plastic materials that can't dissolve in water. Over time, the wipes can accumulate in the sewage system, causing blockages and eventually flooding or even structural damage to your home's foundation.

They might or might not cause an issue "at your house". Only if you have a septic system would these likely cause an issue "at your house" (which is about 25% of homes in the US). If you don't have a septic system, these can backup in the general sewer system. Just a quick google should show you that these things DO cause some massive sewer system backups:

Which could back up into your home, or at the very least cause a shutdown in your ability to use any water in your home for some period of time.
