It dives only. I've never been a fan of floating Floyd Rose bridges. But I've got the Frankie Relic with this setup. The EVH branded Floyd is rock solid. You can dive on it all you want and it stays in tune. And the D Tuna works great!

It does not float. There's no cavity behind fine tuners to allow the trem to be pulled up. It remains flush with the body but is great for dive bombs.

These really should be around $750. They've had other colors cheaper. If no one bought them they would drop further, but I get that this price is enticing.

I've got the Bumblebee one. Neck is beautiful. Only complaint was I had to exchange one to Adorama because the locking nut wouldn't fully lock.

These are hand painted meaning many hours of labor
and quarter sawn 1 piece neck
Idk how they could get them anywhere near under 1k
