I LOVE them BOTH! But that Waterbury takes the edge! This watch stuff is so much fun and just makes this old man smile. Doesn't matter if it's $11.99 on the AMAZE-on or $2,000.00 from Bob's, whatever makes me smile WINS! (I've never spent over $2,000.00 on a watch. Probs from some childhood issue. Note: The Waterbury automatics are powered by Miyota (by Citizen) 8205 movement. It should be tough, reliable, with 21 jewels, a 42 hour power reserve and a 21,600 bph beat rate.
I'm not sure about the comparative value, given that a few months ago I bought a Tissot with an accurate ETA Powermatic 80 movement and sapphire crystal for $209. But then again, for +/- a C-note, why not.
And why not - in for one.
