"Pure" extension ladders always have a special type of feet that allow "digging" into the ground. This "convertible" ladder just have a rubber feet and on unstable soil/ground/mulch plus inadequate friction, the feet may slip out and cause the ladder to fall.

it is just an inherent risk with this type of ladders, not specifically this brand.

Thank you for sharing. I got it at store for 109 without tax (MA) this morning. I need to spray some chemical to kill the moss on my roof.

something got to do with their double dip mistake. got nothing to do with the shipping weight. i noticed some of their instore got discount twice. like this item.
