This is an excellent MicroUSB reader if you have an older USB 2.0 adapter or a crappy one with bad speeds. I agree that it's worth the $5.

I got the Sandisk Extreme 256GB for $22 in March. This speed should be the same as this.

I make a handful of bootable drives and its night and day for transfer speed..

My laptop sd reader is usb 2.0 so it's much slower than my usb 3.0 port
