Okay so there are 3 revisions of this watch, which itself is an homage to the original one-off that was used on the moon.
In order:

This watch.

This is the original release, it is a modern Bulova design take on the original lunar pilot with some added flourishes such as a date wheel, the mention of the 262kHz HAQ movement, and the current Bulova logo. The Pushers on the side are a really unique feature designed specifically for a thick gloved hand.

The Second revision: [amazon.com]

This is a redesign of the dial to look closer to the original Lunar pilot. It loses the date wheel and uses, in an unconventional way, the original Bulova Logo that was on the original watch.
There was a Apollo 15 50th anniversary edition, it is wildly cool for reasons I can't explain beyond it being themed around the color of the Lunar Lander.

The new smaller model. [bulova.com]

This is a resize of the Lunar pilot to get it to work better on smaller wrists. The Pilot is now Bulova's best selling watch and they needed to kill the #1 complaint about the size. With this, they cranked the price up. "Oh is it too big? Well..."

Honestly, the normal second model is the definitive version, maybe the third as well. This is the first model and personally, the discrepancies from the original kinda mess with it to me. Kinda like how many view the inferior version of the speedmaster that went to the moon (without sapphire) as the definitive.

All that said...if you can rock a larger watch, the build quality is incredible on these. It may be Quartz but the HAQ is literally world-class performance and is, in practice, actually meaningfully more accurate than a Speedmaster.

This is a good deal for a brand new example of this watch. Its worth noting that the bracelet on the braceleted version of the lunar pilot is very very nice for a watch in this price range, so if you're into that, it might be worth looking for that version. Also, if you have slender wrists, know that this will look enormous on them. I have a 7" wrist which is pretty average and my lunar pilot looks a bit like Flavor Flav's clock necklace. I still rock it though. It's a sharp piece.

Great point on the bracelet. They can be hit and miss for me personally, so I tend to go leather, rubber, or nato.

I figure if I get the steel bracelet itch, I can use one I already have and trust or pick one up relatively inexpensively.

Unfortunately this revision of the watch is oversized. If they were trying to create a budget Moonwatch, they could have pulled out the calipers and done a little measuring of the OG first.

I love the look of the new white/blue 43mm. But even the mini is still too big for my wrist. I brought my calipers in with me like a dork and I measured 51.2mm lug to lug

Very informative. I didn't know the difference between 1 and 2.

I just bought the latest smaller model from Bulova (the 10% new customer code stacks with the 20% storewide) and have been in love with the watch so far. The blue color scheme is a big reason why I bought it as well (personal preference)

Way too big for me, but is this movement Swiss, Japanese or Chinese made?
