thanks for posting this OP Smilie .. I was scared away from this deal though after reading the newegg reviews for the motherboard Frown .. two reviews mention an error message light type thing on the MB that won't go away and one of those two reviewers mentioned a problem with the fan connected to the MB not running properly

Darn shame too it's got flash BIOS on it which I absolutely love in a motherboard Smilie .. do yourself a favor and upgrade the BIOS to the latest stable build available using this feature to make the CPU install pain free (I could be speaking out of pure ignorance here Stick Out Tongue for this MB and CPU combo but.. I had a problem with a MB that simply would not recognize my CPU since the CPU was made after the MB was so the bios that shipped with the MB didn't recognize it, huge pain and hassle to remove the CPU, return the MB and order another one with flash BIOS which didn't give me any headaches at all when I installed the MB)

here's a few links that might help from the manufacturer.. also definitely read the newegg reviews, seeing a variety of problems purchasers encountered and the ways they worked around it

https://us.msi.com/Motherboard/PR...cification

https://us.msi.com/Motherboard/PR...R4/support

https://us.msi.com/Motherboard/PR...ort#manual

that last one is the user manual, people are complaining it doesn't come with the user manual printed with the MB (odd if that's true) so make sure you have a device around that can easily read pdf files (another PC or decent sized tablet or what not) so you can consult the MB as necessary.

One newegg review mentions the PC needs to be quote "powered down" for USB flash bios to work which is strange, with my ASUS MB's it's the opposite and you plug the power supply into the MB port to get usb flash bios going ... one user had a bad experience updating his bios instead of using what came with the board so I don't know if it's worth just going for it with the bios that ships with the MB and seeing if it recognizes the CPU right out of the box

Microcenter deals are almost exclusively in store pick up only and they only have a handful of stores. All the bundles I could find are in the link below.
