Also, for those who need more coverage and want WiFi 6E, TP-Link usually has the refurbished Deco AXE5300 Tri-Band three-pack Mesh router system for $180 once in a while.

They are practically the same, but this is the newer/better version. This one has a triband (dx60 is dual band) and has five antennas (dx60 has four). Otherwise, they are the same.

Have these. They work great. Gigabit LAN ports come in handy. Seamless transition between the nodes.

Does this replace your existing router? Or you add it to your setup to extend it?

I wonder if it's overkill to get 4 of these for full coverage. We have a 4000+ sq ft home with some deadspots (or low speed spots)

My question was based on the differences between the 2-pack with this deal or the Costco deal with 3 -pack.

Costco deal 7000 Sq Ft coverage
This deal Coverage up to 5,500 Sq. ft

Im wondering what the best option is for 30 dollar difference

Can I buy the TP Link Archer AXE7800 from Costco, and also these 2 nodes, and make them work together for better coverage? Our house is pretty long

You can set the deco units as access points, but you would need to have a wired connection between the Archer and one of the Deco units.
If you get the archer, it supports TP-Link OneMesh which would require one of these extenders that support it if you want to them connected wireless for each unit: https://www.tp-link.com/us/home-n...AND%7C5876

I would recommend just getting a Mesh system since it already has router functionality unless the router you're using has features the deco units don't have.

If you want larger coverage, I would suggest the refurbished TP-Link Deco AXE5300 Wifi 6E 3-pack that goes on sale for $180 sometimes or that Costco 3-pack that was posted earlier.

You can also add more deco units to your mesh system to have more coverage. It doesn't have to be the same type, but the speed would be limited to what the device is capable of.

Thank you so much. Yes, I know very little, but read any wifi extender sucks, even though I have an old C9 from 2014... I just wanna learn about the best 6e mesh that would get future updates, and let me learn advance stuff such as limiting bandwidth for certain family members, or even learn how to flash wrt stuff
