Buy more ram for $70, get a machine whose specs are >> what you can prebuild on your own for the price.

YMMV, but I got the Labor Day coupon to stack with EPP via customer service chat. I think I paid $24XX for a 4090, 13900k machine which was very slick. Probably worth trying here.

Yeah I chatted with 2 different reps and they were not aware of any other coupon code aside from the 10GAMER2023 one. I purchased the computer via paypal (they have 4% CB when buying from the HP website). My CC has 2% CB for a total of 6%. Makes the deal slicker. Thank you OP!

Snapped this bad baby up!! The hp 4090 itself is a overclocking beast and worth 2000$

Have bought Omens earlier, and they hold up good, and i upgraded many parts as needed

has less ram than its vram. i never observed less system memory being used than vram while playing any game. so this may need asap upgrade once you get it.

No it's not. A 4090 MSRP is $1,599.

The quality assurance on this build absolutely sucks. I also bought on labor day sale. The ringing/whining on the fans was atrocious (apparently a common problem according to the HP omen discord and reddit). They replaced the first one, and the second one was fine, but had a jammed door to the internal access. Not a hyuge deal, but after 2 months they offered to replace it again, the third unit just arrived today, with the same fan noise problem as the first. 2/3 had the fan whining problem. 1/3 had a case jammed door problem. Crazy

while this is once again a solid deal, the headache caused from the fan ringing/rattling/whining (24/7, even when in sleep mode when close to CPU usage or heat) is not worth it and the hassle of dealing with their unresponsive customer support also makes it not worth the coin flip if you get a good device or not. the fact that I got 3 bad devices means there is some quality issues going on. My previous omen 30L from 2019 has not had any issues, compared to these day 0 issues on the 45 L

I meant a cool 4090 like the asus. This is way longer and bigger than a few 4090 due to larger fins and better cooling
