Its expired but has a letter from the company saying that the expiration dates have been extended for another 2 years.
Figured, this is like the new thing. Totally understand it but companies need to start advertising it pre sale. At least this is better than getting something with two months left and usually has 1-2 year shelf life

Hand santizer doesn't really expire but because it's considered medical, it all has an expiration date. It's basically alcohol and that doesn't really expire. None around here either.

Hand santizer doesn't really expire but because it's considered medical, it all has an expiration date. It's basically alcohol and that doesn't really expire. None around here either.
Still usable but there is some diminishing effectiveness over time though and that might be the reason for an expiration date.
Sanitizer products past their expiration date are still viable for killing germs on hands; however, their alcohol content may be diminished over time due to evaporation, especially if the container is only partly full, or was stored in a warm place (e.g., the interior of a vehicle). It is prudent, therefore, to leave the (expired) product on longer.
I have this at home (no pump). If it's "Emergency Response Not for Retail Sale" labeled in Magenta on the bottle, how is it that Staples is selling this?
