I like the Orient brand but not this model. I have a Mako that I've had for maybe 13 or 14 years. It's one of my favorites. Went snorkeling with it 100 times. Still looks and works great.

I get it, taking a loss (even on the internet) may be really difficult for many immature adults. It's cool and we get it, it's pretty evident either way based on the responses you've already given.

And to quote GenZ since you are so with the times, go log off for a bit and maybe touch some grass. It'll make you feel better.

Taking a loss of what? Explain to me what I have lost.

The entry level Seiko movements are rip and replace instead of an actual service cost if you go to anyone other than Seiko. And therefore is about $30 for the parts and $30 labor instead of 2-4 ti s that for a service from Seiko and thus the comment about customer service.

I have family members that repair mechanical clocks, I'm well aware of both the skill and labor. But we were not talking about Grand Seiko, but most normal Seiko have machine built movements that are inexpensive and swappable.

I'm a big fan of the movements due to cost and quantity ratio. And literally have over 40 pieces with Seiko movements in them.
Why on earth are you asking for it to be serviced then??? You're contradicting yourself, GET IT TOGETHER!! You're not making any sense, it's pathetic

Rip and replace is still a "service" the vasty majority are not capable of putting the hands back on a swapped out watch (getting the face on there a larger percentage can do).

A "service" directly from Seiko usually implies taking the movement apart and putting it back together which costs more than any entry level Seiko.

If the watch isn't running properly it needs to be "serviced," perhaps you can ask your apple watch to explain it to you.

Pagani Design and cheaper Chinese watch brands have sapphire glass at lower prices. Seiko is just cutting quality to increase profit margins by not including it on these Orient and also Seiko 5 models tbh.
I have two Paganis. Besides the sapphire crystal, their build quality and materials are garbage It doesn't wear the same on the wrist.
