Those are 2280 drives, this is a deal for a 2230 or the 30mm long drive that is necessary for the SteamDeck and ROG Ally as they are designed around the 2230 size SSDs.
not 2230 though
QLC flash

Solidigm P41 Plus uses the same flash as the Intel 670p, but a different controller.

DRAM-less, as is the case with every M.2 2230 SSD

This model is 1TB QLC/DRAM less and is $60 called a deal? if it is 2TB QLC, $50 will be a starting point to call it a deal. But in general, avoid QLC at all cost, they are marginally cheaper but much slower, unpredictable in performance and less durable than TLC.

What about the SN850X 2TB in the prime day at $90? Super deal? Deal from heaven?

When the better quality 670p is $35 for 1 TB, why in the world would anyone buy this? And the 670p has DRAM.

the only thing that makes this interesting is that it's a 2230

How does this compare to the WD SN740?
