LOL this again

https://www.doctorofcredit.com/ym...-anywhere/

Posted on DoC nearly 3 weeks ago; exactly zero person reported actually receiving the 10% CB from this "promotion" despite many claiming the offer.

I had a dispute with paypal in which I won items at an auction(not ebay) and when I went to pick the items up they were different from the items posted. The employees at the business admitted at the time they had used previous photos and had not realized the items sold to me were not same. They said they would reverse the charges since it was their mistake. I left the items on the loading dock and departed. Then the situation fell into the twilight zone and I didn't get my refund and they stopped responding. Fortunately for me I had recorded the entire incident.

PayPal was difficult to work with. Didn't want to look at the video. They found in favor of the seller instead of me despite of the evidence. I contacted my credit card provider and they reversed the charges. The auction house made some nasty insinuations at me and I read them the riot act and have not done any business with them since.

I still use my paypal account, they did not shut me down or make any threats, in fact they didn't say anything about it. I was glad I used a CC to fund my paypal payment and would never use paypal in a transaction that didnt have a CC behind it to protect me.
Just wait until they steal $2500 from your bank account for making disparaging comments about them online.

Don't trust any deals directly through PayPal. This company has gone downhill real quick and is a literal definition of shit. I'm not even sure what happened with this company.

I'm not sure what it is, but I haven't received cashback on the majority of offers I've saved on Paypal. I've only had one work automatically. Getting kind of tired of wrestling with customer service to get them applied. Has anyone else had a similar experience?

I haven't yet, but the deals states points should appear within 14 days. It's only been a few days so far for me.

If you didn't get an email from PayPal for this promo then you don't get the deal. Regardless of what the link says.

I was reading this deal on the Doctor of Credit website and looks like no existing Paypal user got this cashback. It's only for new signups.

My experience in the past three days: I signed up for this offer like everyone else. I also added (from the "deals" tab on PP) a 6% back in points offer for AliExpress. I made a purchase at midnight Sunday night on AE, and the next morning, I got an email saying the 6% points would be pending (all good, so far). Then I made another purchase on AE Monday afternoon, and another one on there Monday evening. I didn't receive an "pending points" email for those purchases. Tuesday afternoon, still nothing. I went onto the PP website and it showed that the offer was "unsaved" from my account and back into the offers page. I reapplied it to my account, and made another purchase on AE that afternoon.

I got an email almost immediately showing the pending points for that transaction, but nothing for the two I made on Monday afternoon. I called PP and was on hold for about a half hour, got an agent in India (I presume) that I couldn't understand at all, but I managed to get her to forward me to another agent, who as it turns out, is here in California. After a long conversation, he is looking into why the points weren't awarded for my Monday afternoon purchases. I'm still waiting for a resolution on that, he told me that I would hear something "within 3 to 5 business days". I'll report back here when I find out what's going on.

My point is, apparently even if you save an offer into your account, it may well (and probably will) be kicked out after a single transaction, even though you are not told this anywhere on the PP website - I looked - read all the details and restrictions on the PP points program and there is nothing about this problem/issue. I don't think anyone here, including myself, will be getting the offer that we signed up for in this thread. Don't hold your breath waiting, as you can see, it's hard to even get points even when you follow all their "rules". I will have to fight to get the points for the AE transactions, I'm quite sure of it now. Good luck to all. Hope this experience helps someone to know what to expect.

Please don't support PayPal. They're an awful company.
