LOL this again

https://www.doctorofcredit.com/ym...-anywhere/

Posted on DoC nearly 3 weeks ago; exactly zero person reported actually receiving the 10% CB from this "promotion" despite many claiming the offer.

I am planning to purchase some appliances in Samsung.com. If I used my Paypal account, Am i eligible for 10% cashback. Please help.
1. Don't buy Samsung appliances. 2. Don't buy direct from them 3. PayPal will not automatically give you 10% back without a hassle, if you get them at all.

I've only seen a handful of people actually get this, but I gave it a shot on something I was ordering anyway. Cost me nothing to try.

Frown Wahhhh....I opened this tab weeks ago and just now getting around to going through all of my open tabs and literally see this 14 hours after it ends. It burns giving away $30, especially when I know I've made several of those kind of mistakes lately Mad

You didn't miss anything. I didn't get the offer after signing up for it (or other offers, see my earlier post in this thread - still not resolved today) and I don't think anyone else did, either. Waste of time in any case. So don't worry, you saved yourself the aggravation of signing up and not getting it.

Oh wow! I wanna say that I feel better, but I really don't knowing they burned this many people on the deal. I hadn't that far into the thread but just looking at the last 2-3 pages I can see how jacked up this was. PayPal really doesn't have good customer service. And I have some "confirm your account" thing to be able to have access to certain features that's being popping up for a few years now. Sent them all kind of info and nothing. Too bad Zelle isn't for business or I'd almost solely use them.

PayPal has terrible CS, the guy I managed to reach and speak to, promised to call me back and give me an update last Friday, and predictably didn't call me back. Now I'm dreading having to call in again and try to get someone that speaks English clearly enough to understand, to get the points I am most definitely entitled to (not the bogus promo in this thread, BTW). They wanted to "confirm" my account too - they wanted my SSN, I never gave them the info - I've had a PP account for nearly 25 years now. I'd think that they know who I am by this time?

And just last week, YouTube did the same thing on my account there: demanded for me to scan and send them my DL, or Passport in order to access "extended" features. And what I was trying to do when I got this demanding popup? I just wanted to pin a comment to the top of the page. What BS! I'm not sending that info to them under any circumstances. I've had the YT account for over 13 years now, 82mil. views, 93K subscribers - and now suddenly they want to know "who" I am? Screw that. I'll shut the channel down before I'll do that. I don't make any money from it anyway, it's just music videos that I don't own the copyright to, so I can't monetize them. I don't care if I have to shut it down, not a loss for me. These corps greed is getting more and more out of hand.

Sorry about the rant, I just felt like venting tonight. Hope you have a great Labor Day weekend, and know you didn't lose anything from PayPal Smilie

I was eligible, activated the promo, placed multiple purchases totaling over $300 and checked out with PayPal, yet I've received no cashback bonus from them. Has PayPal made good on this promo to anyone, or was this just some bogus promo to get people to check out via PayPal so they receive additional transaction processing fees?

I activated, placed a single order for ~$160 and waited. I got nothing, contacted them and was told to give a total of 14 days. I did that and still got nothing, so I messaged them again. They credited $16 to my account. Getting them to make it right was far less trouble than I thought it would be, but with stuff like this it's often luck of the draw. Sometimes you get a rep that figures it's worth the customer satisfaction to settle it - a drop in the bucket for their $29B in revenue. Other times you get a rep who acts like you're asking for both their kidneys.

I spent nearly $300 at CVS via Paypal QR code.
I got $0 back.
I asked Paypal, they say it's a new user promo. I am a 9 yr old customer, so I wont get anything.
This is a such B.S.

No wonder Paypal stock is going down. I should have shorted it and make more than $30.
