Why 580 specifically? Significantly better ergonomics than 530, and the following more powerful models attempted to push more air through the same body resulting in increased noise and lowered efficiency. Not only noise is higher, but it is of different character - less of a rushing wind sound, more of a high pitched whine & scream. 765 is the first 'newer' blower that upgraded form-factor to deal with more air in a reasonable way, with lower noise and improved efficiency. So... either 580 or 765 are great, depending on your needs & budget. 615 and 650 are 'good', but more noisy (and that matters to ME) - making them slightly less desirable, if you care for that aspect.
No that is the 530 with a 4Ah battery and this is the 580 with a 5Ah battery.

No that is the 530 with a 4Ah battery and this is the 580 with a 5Ah battery.
Just take a piece of downspout and shove the tube of your leaf blower into it and wrap some duct tape around it for a tighter seal. Then get a small curved end for the top, which will go into the gutter. I have seen people have it aimed straight down, while others have a bit of a curve on theirs. To each his/her own. See what you prefer. I just crank my Ego 650 up on turbo and it clears out pretty much everything. Hope this helps.

I could see the merits for needing some higher speed / longer battery life but for a smaller property the blower has been great for me. Trimmer is solid as well
Biggest gripe is the more expensive ego blower seem to have better ergonomics. Adjusting the speed on the 530 is a two handed operation but really not a deal breaker IMO
