I just bought a Greenworks 80-volt blower. I haven't opened it yet. I posted it the other day but would return it if this EGO is better.

Any thoughts?

765 cfm model is a bit more $$ but worth the upgrade
Absolutely agree! I bought a house with a pool in June and use my 765 cfm model basically every day to blow leaves off the pool deck!

I bought this when it was $149 last year at Lowes. Great blower. Reduces the hassle of a corded one that I have been using for 12 years. Yet to see how does it deal with leaves.

$129 higher for the 765cfm is 65% more bits, or is there a better deal for it somewhere?

good price with 5.0Ah Battery but that would be a bit tiring on my old wrists. I rather run on turbo with the light 2.5Ah and swap battery. I actually double up with one in each hand. I'll use the gas backpack when leaves get too heavy or wet

I love this blower. I use it to cleanup after cutting my grass twice a week. So nice to just grab this light thing without the need to worry about maintenance or gas. Great for the job. For the leaves in the fall I use my Echo gas backpack. Absolutely no comparison between the two. Each has their own job.

Nice, was waiting for a deal on 580 for quite some time, in for one!

Why 580 specifically? Significantly better ergonomics than 530, and the following more powerful models attempted to push more air through the same body resulting in increased noise and lowered efficiency. Not only noise is higher, but it is of different character - less of a rushing wind sound, more of a high pitched whine & scream. 765 is the first 'newer' blower that upgraded form-factor to deal with more air in a reasonable way, with lower noise and improved efficiency. So... either 580 or 765 are great, depending on your needs & budget. 615 and 650 are 'good', but more noisy (and that matters to ME) - making them slightly less desirable, if you care for that aspect.

Save your $ on their gutter cleaning attachment. Junk would be like giving it a compliment. I built my own attachment after watching several youtube videos.

Just take a piece of downspout and shove the tube of your leaf blower into it and wrap some duct tape around it for a tighter seal. Then get a small curved end for the top, which will go into the gutter. I have seen people have it aimed straight down, while others have a bit of a curve on theirs. To each his/her own. See what you prefer. I just crank my Ego 650 up on turbo and it clears out pretty much everything. Hope this helO

or just climb up a ladder and point the blower down to blow the leaves out

Hate to squash your theory….but my 650 has an adjustable trigger. I can adjust my blow and sound. 😊
