Deleted, as 3 simultaneous general sugar water comments within minutes are no longer needed Wink. Seems like we all consider this a hard pass. Shame, as it would have been a good deal if a true flavored Torani pack.

Just buy a bag of sugar. This may be useful for coffee shops, but for home use, not so much.

Yep, I don't see the point of buying this unless it's flavored. You can get the same results adding lots of sugar to boiling water and let it cool into a syrup stage.

I actually have no idea. But I do know that simple syrup is stupid cheap and easy to make, and I have no idea why someone would buy it premade.

If you want to make your own, this appears to be a ~2:1 ratio of sugar to water (by volume) so 3c sugar to 1.5c water; heat to dissolve then add a Tbsp or so of corn syrup. The latter will help prevent the mixture from crystallizing as it cools. This will make right about 3c of product, or 24-25 oz, which is the size of this bottle. 3c of sugar is a bit under a pound and a half, or about $1.60 worth of brand name sugar and $1 worth of generic sugar at retail.
