I think my oldest underwear is 8 years old. Still wearing to this day. Nice and thin.

Agreed. Terrible quality when I tried Hanes ComfortIQ. Shirts and underwear are bad. That's crazy because Hanes shorts were essentially as good as Calvin Klein or Polo t-shirts in the past. The only decent Hanes product I've seen in a decade are the microwaffle thermals my wife recently got. Rest has been garbage.

Hanes comfort flex fit 76% polyester 19% tencel and 5% spandex is the best without breaking the bank. It also has a 'total support pouch', for the boys, which is a great feature.

Doesn't hold odor like cotton or shrink in the dryer.
Waistband is solid. Seem to last a long time if air dried.

Not sure about their long term quality, as I don't throw them in the dryer.

They also offer a long leg version, which offers something for everyone.

It's superior to exofficio, unless you need a thinner material.

I avoid Hane's boxer brief deals and only get Fruit of the Loom ones now. I've had too many Hanes ones suffered a premature death when the fabric tears just below the waistband. And I'm not a large person.

Picked up both colors of this deal, everyone saying fruit of the loom is better. I like cotton better than other materials for comfort but not necessarily looks. Not sure which deal is better value
