Fidelity is offering New Bloom Customers:$100 Cash Reward when you Open 2 Fidelity Brokerage Accounts (Fidelity Bloom Spend and Fidelity Bloom Save) via the Fidelity Bloom App and Deposit $50 or more within 7 calendar days of opening the account (see the instructions below).
Thanks to community member hashir for sharing this deal.
Open a Bloom account and deposit $50 to get a $100 bonus. This is open to new Fidelity customers and existing Fidelity customers that don't have a Bloom account.
the Net Deposit at the end of the 7 calendar days after your initial funding date ("the Qualification Period") must be at least $50.
The cash award will be deposited directly to the Fidelity Bloom Save account within 10 calendar days after the qualification period.

Looks fairly straightforward.
Technically opening 2 accounts. A debit & a brokerage account for them to invest your savings.
*edit: as pointed out below by SirMixPix, both accounts are technically brokerage accounts which changes the protections/guarantees a bit.
Anyone seeing fees? I'm not.
looks like even better than OP claimed:
+$5 just for signing up (YMMV, this happened during sign up process for me. it is already showing up in the app under Activity for me)
+$100 if you fund $50 per promo
+$30 (10% match bonus on up to $300 deposit to SAVE account)
so if you park $300 in this for a while you'll get $135 in bonuses (I wasn't sure re timing and didn't dig into the details, others have made educated guesses in comments below)
Updates:
Sounds like they check settled funds at the end of the month and you get the bonus early in the next month.
the 10% is an intro bonus rate, looks like 5% for future years.
edit 2:
185TU and not frontpage?
is it the lack of kickback money for SD since it's via app signups and not a direct affiliate link or what?
wild the promoted garbage that gets pumped to the frontpage with very little engagement while this doesn't. apparently the Lisen phone holder & ESR plastic phone cases are more noteworthy lol
edit 3:
I got my full bonus
8/18 signed up. immediately got $5 bonus
8/21 ACH transfer posted ($300)
8/30 $100 bonus posted
9/01 $30 match bonus posted
Keep in mind, both the accounts are brokerage funds and, while uncommon for low risk mutual funds of these types to lose money, they have and can (in rare instances). They are not fdic protected and do carry more risk, albeit slight, than a 'standard' back account covered under FDIC insurance.
These brokerage accounts are instead SIPC covered, which while similar to FDIC insurance, there are some significant differences.
A good article explaining what is covered and what isn't here: https://www.firstrepublic.com/ins...ifferences
Interesting Quote from above article:
"It's worth noting that SIPC insurance does not cover the value of your stocks, bonds or other investments. Rather, the SIPC replaces your missing stocks and other securities when possible."
I am Not knocking this deal or the opening of accounts to get the deal. Just some fyi that I found while exploring the fine print that I found interesting.
Got the $5. Currently a Fidelity credit card + brokerage customer as well.
I attached a picture of where you see the $5 bonus.

Initial deposit of $300 completed 9/5
Journaled (CASH) $100 received on 9/14 (didn't see it show up in the app until today though)
Nothing on the 10% match yet
You'll get the 10% match the following month. It's once per calendar year, I think. They might lower it to 5% match next year.
No, they're not out to scam you. They want new customers. Call them, and they can manually add the $100 bonus if you didn't get it after 25 days. 1-800-343-3548.
I think in the future they should clearly state, "You cannot use a Fidelity brokerage account. You must link a bank outside of Fidelity", at the beginning instead of being buried in a FAQ or whatever.
Do I have to keep my cash reward for the Account Opening Introductory offer at Fidelity in Fidelity Bloom®?
You do not need to keep your cash reward for the $100 offer in Fidelity Bloom® in a Fidelity account. Once the reward is deposited, it is yours to save, spend, or invest however and wherever you wish.
-Existing Fidelity customer.
-I opened an account the day of or just after this posted (mid-August)
-I transferred $300 into Save and another $69 into Spend both from external accounts/institutions
-Received both $30 + $5 bonus
-Have NOT received $100 bonus
Will call them, then promptly close the account once all bonuses are paid. Too much work for $35 and I followed instructions for the $100 too.
Nope. They said to call back Friday if I still haven't gotten it.
Edit: Called back today because I'm tired of thinking about it, they asked how much I was expecting to see and put me on hold for 15 minutes to "talk to the back office". Came back and said they were told I should "submit feedback" in the bloom app asking for the $100. I told them I had no interest in doing that as they should be capable of handling it in customer support (based on other claims in this thread), so they blind transferred me to some other department saying I needed help getting walked through how to submit feedback in the app.
I spoke with the new agent and explained I had no interest in blindly submitting feedback in an app when I'm already talking to customer service. Got put on hold again while they "brought up the promotion system", they came back again and said they had to talk to "backoffice" but they've put in an adjustment on my account that should show up within a few business days.
Total phone time, not including my previous call, was 30 minutes. Not sure why some people seemed to have little issue getting them to manually add the promotion, I guess it's just down to who you get.
I did the bonus for my wife after the supposed expiration date of the promo and it still worked. Just waiting for 10/1 to get the 10% match on the $300 to get the last $30. So far have gotten $105.
Also, yes you can withdraw the moment your bonuses post.

Her $300 deposit to Bloom was on 8/21 from Ally Bank.

8/21 - $5 Promotion
9/01 - Match Received
9/05 - Transferred in more money
9/17 - Still haven't gotten my $100
-
My mom, who did this at the same time as me got her $100 ~2 weeks ago.

Called Fidelity today, they said it's up to 30 days after funding the account so I should have it by the 19th.
The correct department to talk to is called ISR, their direct number if you don't want to get transferred from somewhere else is 800-544-5315.
X = the latest random made-up number
Wondering about this too. How long till we're able to withdraw everything?
