True, but at $180, can't ask for much.

How does the humidifier function work in portable AC? Or it keeps blowing the cold air during the rain?

It probably doesn't mean much and you'll find others with exactly opposite experiences, but I've been very happy with everything Frigidaire I've owned and disappointed with everything Midea I've owned. I bought this one (which came with free overnight delivery for some reason). If it sucks, I'll let you know tomorrow night Smilie

Tank. Probably fill up fast if it's really humid

Oh I thought this one doesn't have a hose to be out of the window.

That's not possible, the heat has to be pumped to somewhere else.

Unfortunately, swamp coolers get marketed as air conditioning today. Ridiculous and dishonest.

Jumped on this, my one grand ecoflow was useless for off grid and ineffective for on grid. Might as well just be on grid with this cheapo

it drains just like the AC function except with more water drainage

$180 is not a bad price, I paid $198 for a similar style 6,000/10,000 [walmart.com] two years ago and absolutely love it!

A couple things people may not know if they've never had this type before:
To exhaust the heat you'll need it near a window. You'll also need a way to drain it i.e. out the window, to a drain, to a bucket etc. I live in a humid area and mine puts out about a gallon every 2-4 hours on average, sometimes a gallon every 1 to 2 hours during high humidity and sometimes a gallon every 4 to 6 hours, so be forewarned.

I didn't see any mention of the window exhaust kit on the Amazon listing. I would confirm with the seller first or you'll have an additional cost.

If concerned about buying something like this from Amazon and shipping, check your local Walmart because they usually have clearance prices on air conditioner this time of year.
