They ran this promo back in May and I missed the offer. I believe this is the one of the best, if not the best bonus offer for this specific card.

They expire 12 months from the time you get the free nights. I got them in my account from last bonus on 8/4/23 and they expire 8/4/24
recommend looking places you want to go first, then decide if the card is right for you.
It's hard to get a room at a decent property domestically for 50k. Handful of real options.
wow.. how many points do you guys have to think that 50K night certificates are hard to redeem... Five 50K certificates is hands down better than 100K points... I'm having a hard time figuring out why 100K pts would be better unless you ONLY stay at Ritz Carltons or All Inclusives for 1 night.
A typical free night certificate from most credit cards is only 35K pts/night. 50K/night certificates, and they give you five is pretty amazing...

applied but it says that they will get back to me : ( I'm guessing that's a bad sign?
Not necessarily. They might just ask some identity confirmation questions and approve you. That was the case when I applied for Ink Cash...I believe it's because I tend to keep my credit frozen, so they're just being careful. I called in about 24 hrs after my Ink Cash application and was approved after confirming identity.
I also was not instantly approved for this Bonvoy offer, so I'm calling in tomorrow morning. I expect they will just confirm my identity again.
It's fairly limited - limiting for most people (didn't assume it to be limiting to an insignificant amount of people or else it probably wouldn't be worth mentioning
depending on the criteria you use - I took the meaning of "criteria" to be something of significance (or else it probably wouldn't be worth mentioning).
Fact of the matter is for every hotel it doesn't work at, there are so many more it will work at, I'd like to say at least 20.. but I'm just pulling numbers out of the air. Most hotels are under 50K, and even more expesnive hotels can be under 65K at certain times. Yes, it won't work for your Ocean Villa at Bora Bora, and it may not work for special events like F1 in Vegas, but it WILL work for most hotels...
I'm not familar with the hotel you mentioned but if you cherry pick hotels like that, of course it's not going to work for every individual instance, but you can use it for other trips too right ? Also, I didn't look it up, but I'm guessing if it's not available during that specific period of time, it may work for other times or there are prob 10+ hotels it will work at...
You assumed I was referring to "extravagant" hotels. I pointed to a "non-extravagant" hotel and your response is I'm "cherry picking." Were you expecting to get 30 hotels as examples?
Other posters agree the way to get max value out of these certs is to have flexibility in location and/or scheduling. My main point is people should look into the points required for the stay they have in mind before jumping on this deal. Not sure why you seem to have a beef with that.

you absolutely right, problem with planning in advance - bonvoy uses flexible scheme, so point prices can go up in peak time.
We've had this offer twice over the years, always used all nights in nice hotels, often during peak times. Perhaps hotel was not top notch , ie residence inn in Florida, but we were there for ocean in january, not mythic service.
Last time they had this I was able to use the certs to stay at the Laylow in Waikiki. Hotel was pretty cute but the pillows were way overstuffed and they didn't have any other kinds which made for an uncomfortable sleep. Looks like the per night rate has jumped up above 65k for the next few months.
They acutually have stores where you can buy a pillow.
Any word on how long this offer will run for? This would be perfect for a Disney trip that I'm planning for early December next year, but between the 3 month SUB window and the 12 month expiration on the free nights, I'd need to wait until early to mid-September to apply for this card.

oh thanks for letting me know, what number did you call? do I have to wait one day?
WHen you meet the spending req., they issue the 5 nights certificates. Is the expiration date exactly 12 months from when you meet the spend? Or do they tack on a little extra time?
How fast can you churn thru chase cards? I applied for the world of Hyatt last month and hit the minimum spend already
If by churning you mean how long should you wait between applications for different Chase cards ("velocity"), the rule of thumb I've seen is at least 90 days.

I think points just have to be used by the expiry date, so you should be able to book your stay with points ahead of actually staying there, if that makes sense. I don't think you need to wait to apply.

I don't know the number. Just Google chase bonvoy customer service.
I am going to call after 24 hrs, I don't know if that's a minimum or anything...it's just what I did last time so I'm doing that again
UPDATE: Chase fraud prevention called me to confirm my identity and I was approved one minute later. 🎉 new card to come in 5 to 7 days.

What value does this card have then?
