If you cancel before the 5th month it will not allow you to maintain your membership till the 5th month. The membership will end before the start of the next free pay cycle

If you have a CITI card, generate a virtual card number for this, set max daily charge to $2. When 5 months is up, future subscription will get automatically declined

Sweet, thanks OP! Signed up and it said the original promo code was not valid, then changed it to your promo code and it said 3 free months, but the renewal date was Dec 17. Thinking 4 months is still good, I subscribed. Then I went into account management, and it changed to renewal on Jan 17, so ended up with 5 months.

Don't forget to use the privacy app so you can use it till the last day and don't get charged if you forget to cancel.

I was already a monthly paid subscriber. The code obviously didn't go saying it was for new customers. I then proceeded to cancel, they did a last ditch effort to charge me half for the next three months if I kept the membership. I was undecided not knowing if coupon would work for me if I cancel now and next minute join again. Half the monthly subscription is still good if you use it frequently.

I canceled it anyway. Rejoined, coupon was accepted, but for three months $0. I guess the 5 month $0 may apply to those who had canceled it a while ago or "lapsed" subscription. Please list your experience as to how long the "lapse" is before they give you maximum 5 months free with this Q.

I got 3 months with barely 1 minute lapse in subscription.

Visa card issued by VanillaGift. It didn't asked for any address, just the card details and zip code.

5 months! I usually get the charged lemonades 🍋 but they're full of sugar and caffeine I guess i can lose the 10lb gain after the subscription ends

Hmm... I did free trial, ended in July. when I tried this, it would not accept coupon code (did cut and go option from SD page). Is there something I need to do to clear my account?

I also had a free trial end in July. I tried this code and it activates the subscription and is good for three months. I then log out and log back in and the subscription is removed.
