Explorian sucks. Grossly irritating high pitched noise, plastic frame and they dance right off the counter. Beyond this few people will get any use out of the 32 oz DRY container. Nor is the 48 oz WET container particularly useful. According to the specs listed this version of Explorian doesn't even have the full power motor with radial cooling which Costco Explorians have.

Yes, absolutely, go for the full size motor base with the 64 oz container. The 7500, Pro750, Venturist have all seen deals in the past year for $300 to $350.

Been waiting for another Vitamix deal like this one since 2021 and this time it's $35 less! In for one, thanks OP!

I'm looking for making Dosa batter. It appears like the pro is a better choice but this comes with a dry container.

Have you ever thought about or tried the pro series? Since these are expensive, I'm trying to see if I should avoid this model and go straight to the pro model as it's 64oz and has a better motor

The main difference is automatic functions like puree/smoothie and all where u touch the button and it runs for a minute or so and turn off automatically. Where as this is manual where u control on off and speed. No automatic buttons. Think of it as jeep vs bmw, same power but bmw has more parts that would break. Both comes with 7 year warranty. Keep on mind there is no dosa batter button on these 😃
