Dang. It's always Costco with deals.

Edit: Wohoo!! I managed to get best buy to price match it. It took 3-4 hours chatting with different representatives until one finally budged and gave me the price match of $512! Funny thing is I almost gave up before the last rep said they'd match it. Out of stock in my local town so I drove an hour away to a neighbor state to pick it up. My advice to anyone: keep asking new best buy chat reps. Don't get discouraged. Persistence is key. Good luck!

Ordered a 55" in Buda, TX. Total came out to $350.10. Fingers crossed it actually gets delivered.

I have been chatting with multiple reps and they are no longer allowing that price match.

Get there early and pick up that TV ASAP!

Not enough. The issue with the reps is they think they can run you in circles when they should be apologizing because they can't honor that good of a price. Honesty is priceless these days. They make up excuses and wear you out, when a simple "No" would suffice. It's in the training. Keep at it, one of them will give you a match seriously.

My local store had 55" TV at $599.97. Instacart showed 612.97 with $100 discount which was supposed to be without 3-year Allstate warranty. However, I ordered and noted to request my shopper asking for free Allstate warranty when checking out. It worked! I paid $512.97 + tax + Instacart fee + tip for shopper. I got $30 new account discount, used $550 Instacart GC (bought with 9% discount) and the remaining was paid by Chase Sapphire Preferred to get $15 statement credit.

This is legal bait and switch! I won't say the location because I need to fight this but I was able to get all the way to PLACING the order for an LG 55'' with a confirmation at the end of the ordering process which included taking all my CC info with a checked-out message(which I PDF'd) AND WITH an email message that showed my order number, delivery info (time, etc), the address "a hold of $570 was placed on the credit card account" message at the end of message.

Then I went back to the PDF I had saved of the actual order which was presented me at the end of the successful check out and right underneath the item, grayed out and small enough that you'd need a f-ing loupe, it said "If out of stock, find best match" and an 'Edit" option was next to it.

This is absolutely insane! So now, the "stock" is NOT in sync with the online shopping system?! So get all exited about this item ... pay for it ... but hey, here's the replacement as "other" choices when we're not able to fulfill the order for which WE CHARGED your CC!

I have NEVER seen anything like it and it's really disappointing that it is COSTCO who is doing it, a business I actually like a lot!

You already received the order or just placed it? I feel like no one has had success with Instacart so far in this thread.

Possible. But I've been "slickdealing" for years and never once saw anything close to it! But hey, nothing is normal these days so the hell with it!

I will fight it. Who knows?! I might win.

Do we have to use instacart or can we just go in store and buy it there?
