Edit: Wohoo!! I managed to get best buy to price match it. It took 3-4 hours chatting with different representatives until one finally budged and gave me the price match of $512! Funny thing is I almost gave up before the last rep said they'd match it. Out of stock in my local town so I drove an hour away to a neighbor state to pick it up. My advice to anyone: keep asking new best buy chat reps. Don't get discouraged. Persistence is key. Good luck!

It didn't work the first two or three times I pointed it out, and the last agent had wanted to refer me to Sales, but I got her to keep the chat, and she got the discount approved for me. Sent me the link to do the purchase, and my bank declined my debit card (fraud protection). I don't like using Credit when possible, but I wasn't gonna pass up that deal so I pulled out the Credit Card before the chat agent / their manager changed their minds.

Got it now. Also have a second that is waiting on an adjustment. Don't feel confident that it'll get sorted out but happy to have one for pick up tomorrow. Will try to get them to adjust the price on the second in store. Pick up at same location so hope it works out. And also add the $100 extra. But will get 1 near Philly tomorrow and ideally a second as well. Cool!! TY OP

I'm getting the website is fake, item not in stock, Costco website showing the same price as Best Buy. Congrats to those who were able to get it. After 15 plus tries I give up any hope.

I saved all the transcripts in which their reps reassure me that I will 100% receive th money back if they don't honor it I will fight the charge through my bank

Good idea, I saved my chat with the rep that I placed the order with. Will try to get another rep to confirm that I'll 100% receive a refund/price match.

Ordered one via Costco's Same Day option for delivery to my MIL's house tomorrow afternoon so we'll see if it ends up going through. If so awesome if not then so be it.

Exactly what you said. That was how my rep wanted to price adjust my order. I purchased the TV while in chat with her and sent order # afterwards.
