Edit: Wohoo!! I managed to get best buy to price match it. It took 3-4 hours chatting with different representatives until one finally budged and gave me the price match of $512! Funny thing is I almost gave up before the last rep said they'd match it. Out of stock in my local town so I drove an hour away to a neighbor state to pick it up. My advice to anyone: keep asking new best buy chat reps. Don't get discouraged. Persistence is key. Good luck!

Correct, the first I purchased this am at full BB price. Rep said they would match and has to go through approval. I knew that was not going to happen. Being trying off and on to get the price now. Finally got it,,but not going to hold my breath. I will be at work all day. BB corporate may step in and deny.

Got the same email saying the price match was denied due to the item being out of stock. It had been previously approved at the time of purchase.

Successful BB price matched to $512.97 using the El paso price to buy in MA. It was out of stock in all neighborhood stores so will have to drive 40 mins to pick it up. I tried it in store early in the day and got denied but it worked through the first chat session agent. I paid using the link that was sent to my email. Hopefully it is ready for pick up tomorrow. Keep trying. It should still be possible.

Yep 2nd rep I had did that same thing - I finished that chat and opened up a new one and the next rep got the order done for me. Submitted it, showed approved, sent me a link to an invoice to setup address and pay etc. Order shows up in my account and I have a receipt showing the correct price.

Chat ended 9CT with no luck as the reps stonewalled or took 30-40mins for each interaction. Call agents were even worse. I got price matched earlier in the day but failed to checkout in time and the invoice link expired. Bummer.
