Edit: Wohoo!! I managed to get best buy to price match it. It took 3-4 hours chatting with different representatives until one finally budged and gave me the price match of $512! Funny thing is I almost gave up before the last rep said they'd match it. Out of stock in my local town so I drove an hour away to a neighbor state to pick it up. My advice to anyone: keep asking new best buy chat reps. Don't get discouraged. Persistence is key. Good luck!

Picked up a 55" from BB couple hours ago. Got mine for $412.97 before tax. It was showing $1012.97 with the Costco link. So I took a chance with price match with BB thru chat. They kept transferring me. Then got disconnected. I followed up an hour later and the next agent had it ready. Told me he could match $512.97, but could not honor the $100 off. He sent me a email link for $512.97 plus tax to pay. I was gonna pay, until I realized I had a gift card at home. So the agent told me to just try back later and to use my case ID. An hour later I tried again and got another agent. I kept giving my case ID over and over. That agent then mentioned that they did see the approval from the first agent. Then they sent another invoice link thru email. To my surprise, not only did the honor the $512.97 price, but they also gave me the $100 off! Ty for posting!

Tbh, I knew it was a bad move. Part of me wanted BB to not match. So I could hold out for the 65 or 77. But I'll take a 55 for $400

No time to drive around, but checked Costco in Fullerton, CA and no deal, was $999 or $1199, cant remember.

Really wanting the 42" for a montior, but was going to make this work if I could get it for $600~

You could've just paid, then went to a store later on to use a gift card. Lol

If your costco has stock at $997 and you are interested go in and talk to a manager. I got mine for $800. Sure not as slick as the 4-600 some are finding but still a great deal.
