Edit: Wohoo!! I managed to get best buy to price match it. It took 3-4 hours chatting with different representatives until one finally budged and gave me the price match of $512! Funny thing is I almost gave up before the last rep said they'd match it. Out of stock in my local town so I drove an hour away to a neighbor state to pick it up. My advice to anyone: keep asking new best buy chat reps. Don't get discouraged. Persistence is key. Good luck!

Don't trust them saying they will pm refund. They could've easily send link to purchase at pm price.

Depends on how careful you are with your TV. Best Buy's protection plan covers burn-in. As long as you don't leave static images on the TV all day (like leaving it on a news channel all day), burn-in shouldn't be a problem on modern LG OLEDs. If you're not going to do that, the protection plan is a rip-off. If you are going to do that, it'll be well worth it.
