Edit: Wohoo!! I managed to get best buy to price match it. It took 3-4 hours chatting with different representatives until one finally budged and gave me the price match of $512! Funny thing is I almost gave up before the last rep said they'd match it. Out of stock in my local town so I drove an hour away to a neighbor state to pick it up. My advice to anyone: keep asking new best buy chat reps. Don't get discouraged. Persistence is key. Good luck!

Yes, you are correct we were able to process a price match for some of our customers as we were not informed much earlier by our internal team that the item is not eligible. We did an honest mistake of overlooking our current policy and this was escalated to us already by our internal team. We are sorry for the inconvenience as we are unable to process future price match request with that product at Costco.
We 're sorry, We just got an ordered form higher support not to price match it anymore, as we'd love is that just we need to obey and follow the rules.
