Edit: Wohoo!! I managed to get best buy to price match it. It took 3-4 hours chatting with different representatives until one finally budged and gave me the price match of $512! Funny thing is I almost gave up before the last rep said they'd match it. Out of stock in my local town so I drove an hour away to a neighbor state to pick it up. My advice to anyone: keep asking new best buy chat reps. Don't get discouraged. Persistence is key. Good luck!

I asked about buying now at $999 and adjusting the price down to $599 on Sept 4 and was told the policy allows to do that only if the item is still in stock in the store which is unlikely 2 weeks down the line.

I bought this TV about a year ago and it's amazing. For those who missed this deal, just wait few months for Black Friday. I'd say by then good chance you'll get it around $700~900. Not sure calling hundreds of time to save couple hundred bucks is worth it ($500 then sure but not $200).

That's what I told myself. It'd definitely be around ~$600 range around BF with C3s being flooded into the market. May not be as hot as the $412.97 TX price but not worth getting stonewalled after countless hours of hoping there could be that one person who would price match.

I Pm 2 days ago. Wasn't available in stock to pick up but was available for delivery to store. Should be Friday . Now my store shows not available for delivery or pick up but it is available now at a nearby store for pick up today.
Would you wait or chat and change pick up location?

My order still says preparing for pick up on Friday.

As far as I know, there was only one store in TX (college station) that had 65 inch for $700. Sure enough, that store sold out out the same day the deal was posted on Reddit.
