Edit: Wohoo!! I managed to get best buy to price match it. It took 3-4 hours chatting with different representatives until one finally budged and gave me the price match of $512! Funny thing is I almost gave up before the last rep said they'd match it. Out of stock in my local town so I drove an hour away to a neighbor state to pick it up. My advice to anyone: keep asking new best buy chat reps. Don't get discouraged. Persistence is key. Good luck!

Idk theres one around me for near same price and many have said on this thread that it's possible Costco will price drop them September 4th if there are any left in stock to $600. Obviously then you can try to price adjust. Issue you run into is, if you buy it and other people do at $900 there will be no price drop in store September 4th at all.

On 8/22/23 I purchased Sony 55" A80CK at Costco Lake Elsinore, CA for $725. You can add the extra warranty for $100 which get csredited immediately on the purchase. They had about 6 more left.

I did the whole buy at full price and we will refund you from a chat. I did not see the refund after a day so I called on Monday and the back office team said my refund had been approved and that I would see it within 24-48 hours. 48 hours later and still no refund so I call back and they tell me the price match request was "misdirected" and now it is denied.
