Dang. It's always Costco with deals.
*Cries in sams club membership*

Edit: Wohoo!! I managed to get best buy to price match it. It took 3-4 hours chatting with different representatives until one finally budged and gave me the price match of $512! Funny thing is I almost gave up before the last rep said they'd match it. Out of stock in my local town so I drove an hour away to a neighbor state to pick it up. My advice to anyone: keep asking new best buy chat reps. Don't get discouraged. Persistence is key. Good luck!

Ordered a 55" in Buda, TX. Total came out to $350.10. Fingers crossed it actually gets delivered.

I could not do this online in my account - it wasn't showing up like it typically would. Probably because of the way it's processed and purchased (via that invoice link they sent you to pay).

Today, I went down to Best Buy to add it and they were able to do it no problem. So you'll likely have to go in store...I didn't try chat, but maybe you could do it from there.

Paid $119+tax for the 5 year protection plan thanks to the lower price.

Edit: attached pic showing it linked in my account now.
Thanks. I believe their warranty covers burn in as well so 5 years for $119+tax is a no brainer.

first thing I did and it was still horrible with my switch. I went into service settings and removed TPC and GSR. Thank you for the tip!
You don't have to actually remove TPC & GSR a recent patch has fixed this.

How? I tried that and they require an active link that shows the price. Was the guy that helped you named Jay?

I went to my local Best Buy store today to see if they would price match the C2 floor model I bought at Costco 2 days ago for $900. They said the lowest they could go is $1099 and would not price match because they would lose money. I want to swap the TV's for a non floor model and get the extended warranty through Best Buy. Might try another Best Buy tomorrow.

Okay -

I actually found one at a Costco - but really don't want to travel 2 hrs each way to get it. Shows $1,012.97 / ea online but called and confirmed it's $499 in store.

How can I fix this situation?

Dude. 4 hours? Thats nothing just go? Seriously flabbergasted at how you don't want to drive a measly 4 hours to save $500

I did the pm at bestbuy Sunday and picked up immediately Monday morning. I don't know how some got it for $400. I paid $512.97 for the 55". If it's any consolation to anyone who missed out, I don't think imo that it's the "best" tv. It's good for HDR, SDR is too dim for me. I'm positive a slick deal will come out for a better tv 👍
No one said it's the "best" TV. There's plenty of better TVs you can get, but it's going to cost you. The value you get for $500, $600, or even $1k is what makes it great.

What are the plenty of better TV's you're referring to? I can think of the C3 and maybe the Sony A95K or the A90J. Cnet ranked the C2 as the best TV until the C3 was released.

Where are you located that you can get it for this price? Obviously you drive there and pick it up!

No. I was at the Best Buy in Henderson, NV. Didn't get the guys name but he didn't asked for an active link. He just asked to see this post, asked to see my Costco card, went to ask his lead, and came back to ring me up. Total came out to $650.22.
