Have last years model with 16gb ram. Its amazing. Paid 799 at costco for it on sale.

This is it's third generation and it was introduced in 2021 with 11th Gen Processor. This is a very good laptop, similar category as HP Spectre 13 and better than XPS 13 in lot of areas. It has very solid build quality, very long battery life, over 500 nits Dsiplay (Reviews showed it goes up to 550 nits) and solid performance. Also, 120Hz display makes everything looks smoother.

I do not know if it was a previous model, but the hinge isn't very stiff. That is a common complaint with these laptops, that with some vibration and movement they close/open depending on their orientation. Anyone have a comment that 2023 model is any better? I liked the specs but when I had in my hand in person I saw the hinge was an issue like other people said

I just bought one last year (the 12 gen intel) and I had to warranty replace it because the hinge was so messed up. I RARELY ever used it as a tablet and about the 3rd or 4th time I did, it broke. Costco helped with all the return process, but I love the laptop so much I'm going to get this latest version.

lots of 3 star reviews, apparently it's hot as hell, loud bc of fan always on and the display cuts out often.. All 3 things on multiple reviews. One said the heat caused the frame to separate.. Going to pass even with Costco return policy. 2 bad nice specs
