No idea the quality between Asus vs Acer. I have 2 Asus Zenbooks and like them.
This one is $200 less, used vs new, lower res, 16:9 which I don't prefer, double the ram, weaker CPU, weaker iGPU (680M vs 780M).
Both seem great with some cons (for me).
Acer is usually more of a budget brand than ASUS. 16:9 is a great content consumption format, which I suppose is a nice use case for the OLED screen, but I agree, I use a tablet or TV (or tbh, phone) if I'm watching content, id rarely pull out the laptop for that purpose. 16:10 minimum for productivity is much better.

The third number in a Ryzen CPU tells you guys new its architecture is. The 7735u is still very competent but it's based on older tech. The 7840 would be a significant step forward, as well as having the new 700-series iGPU, which can approach 1650ti levels for gaming, I heard.
Looks like this is not a touch display which means no digitizer overlay that creates a grainy look. Which several owners in the post you linked had complaints about.
I personally don't get the need for touch display so I am really considering this one.

Woah! Makes me regret buying the Intel one awhile ago. Used or not, amazing deal! Good find OP.
This definitely does have good specs for +$100. Main concerns for this one, for me at least, is the size has gone into the bigly side in terms of L x W and the CPU performs ~26% worse across all benchmarks compared to the i7-13700h which is a nono for what I need it to do.

Also, I could not find any mentions of a warranty, and the item is nonreturnable barring the thing comes DOA.
And it's OOS anyway.
