    Most of you whipper snappers on here don't remember the days before expiration dates. They only came to be in the 70s. Before that if it looked and smelled ok we ate it. So much food is wasted because of dates. Sure some things get stale soon after the printed date, but most of it is good for quite awhile after.

    Unfortunately when they get disconnected they are a month away from expiring and end up stale. I would rather pay a buck more a box and get fresh

    At this price, why not!

    Amazon is atrocious when it comes to food handling and these will definitely be a week or two away from expiration by the time we get them but I'll send them to school with my kids as a classroom snack so they'll get eaten pretty quick.
