Walmart gift cards can be used at Sam's Club fuel stations, but there is no way to scan barcode only gift cards at the pumps. You can use a gift card with a magnetic strip for fuel purchases.

I have walmart + Sams +, I think it's pretty rando. but a cool $58.50 if I deal with the PITA of tracking it, like a lot of slick deals

As someone who works in technology, this is a missed opportunity to target customers who don't spend at walmart.com. What's the strategy of giving random discounts if the goal isn't to capture new business?
Point is, don't get pissed if you didn't get it, it'll come round again
I used to check occasionally, but they were usually crap, so I stopped... but there are some very good offers for me right now. 10% walmart, 7% Food Lion, 5% Kroger Fuel.
I guess I need to check more often, which is probably the point.. driving traffic to their web site.
