A14 5G has newer Android (13 vs 12), but with One UI Core instead of One UI
A23 5G has 120Hz screen (90Hz on A14 5G), an extra ultra wide camera and better SoC (Snapdragon 695 vs Dimensity 700 on A14 5G)
I was planning to give the phone away but I guess they just saved me $70 that I probably shouldn't have spent anyway.

Both are good performers and I'm now a Samsung fan over the Moto's I had/have. Cameras on both are very close in detail captured, same with video. The A23 is thinner, both have smooth scrolling, both have Gorilla Glass 5, however the max screen brightness of the A14 is around 100 nits brighter and looks really good. That's not to say the A23 is not bright though. Two phones very close to each other with A14 coming with Android 13 and the A23 coming with Android 12, but getting Android 13 download last month. No wrong choice on either phone.

but
i worry about being able to use them on t-mobile
after finding out the flip phones i harvested last
month would only work with verizon mvno's even
after the unlock.
We are on T-mobile's family plan (total 6 members). For our older daughter, we had used this deal with the Moto G7 and unlocked that phone and it works when we transferred her line to my T-mobile account.But that was prior to Tracfone getting acquired by Verizon.
I would like to use this deal for my younger one and wondering the same as whether - once this phone is unlocked - we can use it on T-mobile?
Any feedback would be appreciated.
