I think it's slightly better.
Same 4GB of RAM, 64GB storage, 5000mAh battery, 6.6" Full HD display.
A14 5G has newer Android (13 vs 12), but with One UI Core instead of One UI
A23 5G has 120Hz screen (90Hz on A14 5G), an extra ultra wide camera and better SoC (Snapdragon 695 vs Dimensity 700 on A14 5G)

This phone is good. The screen though not oled is fantastic. Definitely preferable to the A03s deal that has been posted here. Battery lasts 2 days.

Welp QVC canceled my order. Was this just a bait and switch to get customers to sign up and collect user data?

I was planning to give the phone away but I guess they just saved me $70 that I probably shouldn't have spent anyway.

Personally, I don't think it is worth it. At around $200, you can get the Boost Moto Edge+ 2022 which can be unlocked immediate with ebay code. If you prefer a Samsung, I think unlocked refurbished S21 is around $220ish iirc. If you don't mind waitng for 6 months to unlock, Metro also has the A54 5G for $90.

GSMArena has reviews on both phones and one explicitly says gorilla glass 5 and the other just says glass front.

PC Mag review of the A14 says:

"Samsung doesn't say what type of glass covers the display; the company would likely market it if the screen were protected by Gorilla Glass, so we suspect that isn't the case."

I would not recommend Tracfone to anybody unless you would like to deal with their bad customer service someday. Tracfone wiped out all my balance when I called them to fix a phone connection issue, and I do see it happened for other people. If you just want to buy cheap phones loaded with Tracfone credits and merge into your current account, think again!!!

Based on my previousTracFone, it's incredibly easy. After 60 days, they'll automatically send you an email with instructions for unlocking. It's just a matter of entering a few codes and it's done. Took less than a minute.
