Wow this is an amazing laptop specs and feature for the price, just that 300 nits glossy screen would be unreadable in direct or near sunlight but you really can't be picky at this price point, plus who uses their laptop in direct sunlight anyway.

Next time, save yourself some chat and simply search the model number "82YL0005US" in Lenovo's website! You still save 20% with this excellent condition open box offer. Slick deal!

chatted with "LENOVO".new is cheaper for me with 11% cashback and no tax(pickup from BB in NH). Used was available only in MA (additonal tax). so 16% savings for a used one evens out for me.

Don't buy Lenovo Yoga laptops. I bought exactly same last year and these laptops seems to have manufacturing design hinge issue. Performance wise these laptops are best but hinge will cause screen cracked and other issues. I would not recommend it to anyone. Please do simple google or YouTube research for Hinge issue and read those comments. Within the warranty itself Lenovo won't cover the hinge breakouts

The 300nits screen was where they lost me. Perfect laptop besides that. Foregoing the 2-1 design and went with a Zenbook OLED instead

I think the 9i open box deals for last year's model are probably a better deal. I got the oatmeal color with the 2.8K screen for $680 and the storm grey with the 4K screen for $840. Unfortunately the 2.8K screen laptop was clearly not in "excellent" condition that was claimed, has a lot of scratches and I can't get the track pad to work consistently (only worked once after running the system through a full restore) and the touchscreen hasn't worked at all.

I'll have to counter this post. I'm typing this on a Yoga 2 Pro that I got nearly 10 years ago now. I'm just now thinking about maybe getting a new laptop just for a USB-C port. The laptop is still going quite strong, even though the outside has taken a beating from being thrown in and out of bookbags and carry-ons all these years. It's never been babied and the hinge is strong as ever.

I've considered the 7i as a replacement, but after holding it at Best Buy, I didn't like the wider main base compared to the narrower screen. Will hold out for a deal on a X1 Yoga. I've never had a laptop last nearly this long.

It is reference to new design. I'm sure in last 10 years, design would have been changed atleast 2-3 times. For more details on this issue, please check lenova yoga forums: https://www.google.com/search?q=l...ent=safari

Also check with any mobile mechanic or in-store mechanic, they are getting these issues reported everyday. As per some forums, lenova claim that hinge are designed to be protected upto 25000 times open and close.. lol
