As a repair guy, I'd say if possible loosen the hinge tension slightly, and also open and from the center near the webcam.

Great deal for 2-in-1.
Are there any differences in build quality between Yoga and Flex series? Especially about the hinges?

"The Yoga 7i 14 is no slouch when it comes to battery life, showing 14 hours of unplugged stamina in our video rundown. Its screen also delivers great visual quality for a reasonably priced laptop, though it doesn't match the showpiece OLED panels of the Yoga 9i and HP Pavilion Plus or the Retina display of the MacBook Air."

This was with Intel Core i7-1255U so it should be similar with the 13th gen 1355U too.

Refresh Rate
90Hz
Brightness
350 nits

Would have made it better since discrete gpu for same price

But deal is dead so this yoga is better for those who missed out

I have almost this machine (Flex vs Yoga), I would say battery life is 10-ish hours with netflix and internet use. Only hardware difference is mine has a bigger SSD but that shouldn't impact battery life. Overall love the Flex so I would assume the Yoga would be even better.

If the refresh rate and brightness the same level for both which screen would be better?

This or

Different use cases for each but pretend the slim doesn't have the dGPU.
That was a sick deal, hate I missed it. Only annoying thing to me is that isn't a true 2-in-1, but with a 3050 included I could have lived with that.

2 distinct differences:
* OLED screen on 9i vs IPS on this one
* The sound on 9i is light years better due to speaker-hinge. Also no issues with hinges breaking.

I was able to get the last 9i in the area for $635 1 week ago. Now thinking if its worth saving $200 and getting this one instead.

As for ASUS comparison - to me: Lenovo >> ASUS; also ASUS was not 2-in-1 and that was hard requirements from my wife.

Reserved the Fair condition for $425 in the store 20 min away from me. Hopefully it is in as good condition as the 9i (which was excellent but missing the sleeve)
