No. I have both. The Darn tough fit your foot better, softer, and hold up better. The costco socks are nice and thick though so if you have boots that are too big, they are perfect.

That's a personal decision based on what you plan on using the socks for, what length of socks/style that you prefer, and how much cushioning you like. For example, it wouldn't make sense for someone to recommend their crew-length dressier socks if your plans are to use it for running.

Would recommend going to the Darn Tough website to learn about the different options they have to have an idea of what they offer.

I have been disappointed with Costco's socks--the quality varies from year to year. The version in 2021 or 2022--holes developed with one use.

IMHO all their midweight and thicker socks are good. Avoid light/ultra-light "no cushion" varieties - they are durable but comfort is very poor for wool socks, probably because these varieties actually have little wool, most (all?) other brands of lightweight wool socks are more comfortable. Also, keep in mind that all their socks (including "Lifestyle") have a pretty tight "sporty" fit, which is great for walking but not so good just for sitting somewhere in the office or home.

Price adjustments are within 14 days of the purchase date.
Returns are within one year.

You can either return it now, or return it then and repurchase.
