This is interesting. I'll check what the theatres looks like Sunday. But if rather pay 7 bucks on Tuesday to not be in a crowded theatre potentially full of people that use their phones, talk, bring babies, etc.

This is a best way to meet all slick dealers once a year at the movie theatres.

Does not include taxes and "fees." Why do I suspect the $4 tickets will be $10 when everything is said and done?
I paid $30 for 5 tickets.

Still available at King of Prussia IMAX, which is also doing 7015 IMAX. A little over $11 total for a pair of tickets, though only the 11pm showing has half-decent seats as of this morning

I got a pair just as a backup for my Friday night showing in case of projector/seating issues. Don't want to miss what might be one of the last prints ever made directly from the original IMAX negatives with no scanning or printing.
Off topic lol
Isn't it so cool to say that you lived and graduated from a city called King of Prussia lol . Little touch of a royalty

Every day can be National Theater Day at home if you have a 77 inch OLED TV.

Or bigger if you have the means.

On Sunday? They'll be empty even with this offer that hardly anyone will know about. You must not go to the movies very often because the theaters are ghost towns on Sunday.

which movie theater?
That's probably because AMC is fake digital IMAX and not the true format. Regal is mostly the home of the true format. Only big Imax/Nolan nerds care about this though. (like myself.)

is this only online or can we buy tickets at box office on the day as well. Trying to avoid the 5$ convenience fee at Cinemark.
You can buy them at the theater for $4 to avoid the convenience fee. However, just be aware that the newer movies may be harder to get good seats depending on where you live. My theater is empty on Sunday and I plan on seeing Mission Impossible before it leaves the theater so I'm going to just wait. I'm not worried in the least.

Theaters will be packed for sure. Get your tickets early!
Not necessarily. It really depends on where you live and if you go to an early show when all the people are at church. Plus if the movie has been out for a few weeks it will still be an empty theater.

Depends on the chain. Regal added about a $1.50 to each ticket. I'm good with paying $5.50 to see a movie. I was going to wait and buy it that day but decided the few bucks was worth it to get a good seat. I saw that they have a Small Drink/Popcorn combo for $4 so that will surely bring out a bunch of folks.

Regal sent me an email about this deal yesterday. I bought 4 tickets for Strays (cause foul mouth doggies are fun to watch)- with fees it came up to $23.

I also recommend Blue Beetle (watched it) to all my Latino peeps out there! The action, music, comedy AND El Chapolin Colorado is worth watching on a big screen!

Dislike AMC with their stadium seating chairs that don't recline..

The only movie playing in theaters that I want to see is Oppenheimer. It stops playing at all nearby theaters on the 24th. It doesn't look like it releases for DVD or streaming until October.

Boo... Last year it was on a Saturday now it's a Sunday.
I bet next year it will be on a Monday.
It's National Cinema Day. It changes with the calendar.
