This is interesting. I'll check what the theatres looks like Sunday. But if rather pay 7 bucks on Tuesday to not be in a crowded theatre potentially full of people that use their phones, talk, bring babies, etc.

This is a best way to meet all slick dealers once a year at the movie theatres.

I was almost willing to spend money at the theatre; until a forty something percent "Convenience FEE" shows up at checkout. Turns out, it's not very convenient for me to pay this additional fee. I believe I'll wait and watch it in the comfort of my home.
I don't get it either... If you purchase online, it's an automated system that generated a digital ticket for you without having to pay a human to manually process it or work behind a box office, so that costs them less but yet they (and not just theaters, but almost any online ticketing) are super greedy and want to SCAM consumers with these BS fees. This BS fee makes me cancel many many purchases when I get to checkout as I would much rather give my business to another company that doesn't practice this!

Part of the fun going to the movies was getting the overpriced soda and popcorn but now no FREE refills.

The refill made the price not seem as bad as it is.

Ticket fees to order online and reserve seats.

We now watch all movies at home with unlimited soda and popcorn and save lots of money.

If buying at the theaters, you're HOPING there's still seats available.

I recommend Sound of Freedom. 99% on rotten tomatoes.
This makes seeing a movie at the theater reasonable. But if you want to go regularly, then it's $10 per ticket, $8 for popcorn and $6 for a small drink, so about $24/person...a movie date is almost $50 now. I have a nice little home theater with 7.2 surround sound, theater seating with "butt shakers" and top of the line 4K TV, so buying the 4K disc For less than that $50 makes a LOT more sense to me.

Please, everyone do at least basic level research to before even thinking of going to watch this movie.

Also question why anyone is buying up a bunch of tickets for a movie so other people can go watch it for free.

I would hope none of this adds up in your head. Again please just do a basic Google search on this first.
I don't get it.

You can do this days before your showing. If your theater happens to be on your way to/from your daily drive it's a great way to pass on the"convenience fee"
