I'm struggling how 5 cents a plate is a good value for these flimsy ones when you can have small packs of everday coated, heavy duty 8.5" plates for a 2-3 cents more (and not even in bulk, just 80-125 packs). It's a world of difference.

I only use uncoated for dry foods like sandwiches or chips. Coated is best for everything else. Although that coating is plastic, wax or PFAS, so I am suspicious of it. Ceramic plates are probably the safest option IMO

I only use uncoated for dry foods like sandwiches or chips. Coated is best for everything else. Although that coating is plastic, wax or PFAS, so I am suspicious of it. Ceramic plates are probably the safest option IMO
