You can get 600 for $25 at Sam's Club [samsclub.com]... these are sturdy for a paper plate...

I'm struggling how 5 cents a plate is a good value for these flimsy ones when you can have small packs of everday coated, heavy duty 8.5" plates for a 2-3 cents more (and not even in bulk, just 80-125 packs). It's a world of difference.

These soak through and lose structure within minutes, assuming they don't fold up as you walk.
