It's all made by Warren Distribution. They make Kirkland, Super Tech, Amazon, and many other private label brands. It's good stuff.

Why would you ever need to do an emergency oil change?

$3/qt, is that a good deal these days? I usually look for closer to around $1/qt. My 3yr free oil changes is going to come to and end soon on my car so it's been a while since I've purchased oil. I guess everything's more expensive these days.
This is accurate 2 years back. $1.2/qt
I did similar deal . Walmart and Mobil rebate.

I too have fumoto on both of my cars. I can now change the oil without climbing under on both cars so no need for jackstands.
The thing is I'm gonna go under my car to remove the oil filter anyways, the fumoto valve just makes things a bit easier, but I'm concerned about an additional point of failure, which may result in catastrophic engine damage. Everyone has been using the good old drain plug without any possibility of failure.

I've been running the fumoto valve for about 15 years now without any issues. Since its not something you would even take off the chance of it leaking or falling off is almost nil. They do sell a plastic piece which locks the lever in place but I don't see how its even possible for it to open accidentally

Same question. Just topped off the sedan, and it was my last jug.

+1 I've been Fumoto Valving for ~15 years

Did that on a previous car but it wasn't Fumoto, although same idea. The valve I used seems to have had a MUCH shorter length than the Fumotos I see, most oil pains aim the drain plug down for drain purposes but that also makes for a very exposed valve to shear off.

Figures, that's what they did last go around in April. Strangely I'm an hour away from Costco but may just make a trip for the instore 2 jug deal and grab whatever else I might need. They got me.

Thanks, 2 packs sold out online when I tried this AM. Was going to get 2 of them anyhow, so...this works!
