Beware there are no Linux kernel drivers for the hardware in this machine, so you're stuck with windows for now. You won't have Wi-Fi, and can't have Wi-Fi, until that gets updated.

Just go into settings\recovery\reset and click on "reset this PC". Choose the option to remove everything and let it reinstall. It will use the same key.

I have 3 of these machine for the office, they work tremendously well for it. Office/Excel/Browser. Super fast and clean, just BE AWARE to re-install windows.

These machine comes with a default windows 11/10 but there is a software that comes with it, that you can see it under START UP services. I forgot the name but please make sure you reinstall windows.

I run windows and use a nuc for everyday browsing and office tasks. How does beelink compare to intel nuc? Intel regularly pushes bios updates etc so I can rely on them. Just wondering if beelink is responsible or will be gone soon?

Big fan of this mini-PC. However, this is not the lowest price I see for the Beelink S12 N100 on Amazon. Been tracking the price, with (and sometimes without) coupon on page you should be able to find for $159.

I'm looking for something around $100 to run Batocera, is this good or is there a cheaper option?

I believe you're referring to the burn-in test process. Just disable it from startup and u should be ok. Currently using this very same machine without issue. The 6W TDP is pretty awesome, can barely hear the fan even under heavy load.

I still recommend a clean Windows install as a good practice (though "clean" doesn't mean much with Windows 11 now, but I digress.)

They have almost the same CPU performance but the n100 has a much better built-in GPU and uses much less power.

Yes. It's an Intel AX101 wifi/BT. It's too new. If you're a Linux wizard I believe you may be able to get the wifi working but the bt is still a no go.

No doubt. I read in a tech newsletter yesterday that if you choose "World" instead of your country when setting Win11 up for the first time, they can't target you with the bloatware and you'll have a much (not completely) cleaner experience.

How do you reinstall Windows? Don't you need to purchase a new product code?
