OP wording makes it sound like renewal will be @$4.99. It will be $40+ so be sure to cancel and buy in later again.

Don't do it. Your wife will have you spending your weekends building some bullshit dog crate.

I ordered, choosing PayPal. It didn't even authenticate me and said thanks for the order. 🤔

If your wife doesn't find you handsome anymore, at least she can still find you handy!

Family Handyman site says annual subscription has 8 not 7 issues. FYI, but they offer $7.95 annual for 2 years, which may account for an extra issue.

OK magazine. I had it for many years and let the sub lapse. IIRC it's not a monthly mag but they whittled it down to maybe 8 or 9 per year.

Some projects are interesting, but after you've had it for awhile you'll start to see the same things just regurgitated over and over again.

I think Reader's Digest is the parent company.

I did the same. I think it's great for 2 or 3 years max. I had it back when you'd get something to review now and then. After that you got to keep. I got a few things but nothing really great. I also don't know anyone who has ever paid full price for this subscription. I had it when there were 14 big issues a year. I saw a current one in the Dr office and it's so sad looking now.

This used to be a pretty robust monthly magazine, but it's like getting an occasional home improvement brochure in the mail these days. Sad.
